Swell Mama's Watch out Boys! The number of surfing Mum's is on a dramatic increase, with the rapidly growing local "Swell Mamas" group gaining some serious momentum. In the recent past the group has received some high exposure from all sorts of media, including a feature story in COAST MAGAZINE for a recent issue, and a great story on WIN NEWS. Swell Mamas now has around 30 regular surfers, meeting each Friday morning for coffee and then a surf at Inverloch Main Beach. The Girl's are on a winner with heaps of fun being had for all levels of surfers and also a freedom that comes with rotating babysitters on the beach. Anyone interested in joining the fun can contact us hear at the shop and we will pass on the relevant contacts. Bass Coast Boardriders BASS COAST BOARDRIDERS CLUB offers great value for family's, with events such as, family fun days and Comps to cater for all age groups. The club is also an active participant in the fight against the proposed Wonthaggi Desalination Plant and also has a surfing mums group. Memberships are available in store at Vortex Surf & Skate.
