Noble Skate Comp On Again! The Vortex James Noble Memorial Skate Comp is on again this Saturday 10th Jan. As a warm day is expected we have brought forward the registration time to 9:30am and the comp will start around 10am. Divisions will be worked out based on the enteries received again this year so please register early on the day or any time before Saturday at Vortex Wonthaggi. Great Prizes and give aways will be on offer and some rad looking trophies, sponsored by PJ (James's Cousin) will go to the winners of each division. Tell all of your friends and families that are going to the Wonthaggi Show to cruise over to the skate park and check out all of the action. Summer Don't you love this time of the year! Extended daylight hours to do all the things we love, without having to wait until the weekend to do them. Weather it be an after work surf or skate, going for a ride or whatever, life in general just seems to get a bit brighter as summer approaches. Right now at VORTEX we have everything you need to get stoked on your favorite pastime. A great range of surfboards from RUSTY, GRAVELLE, WEBBER, 7S, Mals from McTAVISH and BIC and learner boards from N.S.P. We have the best range of bodyboards in the district with pro boards from Vs. 4Play, NMD, MANTA plus a full range of kids, beginner & intermediate boards and accessories. Skate has always been one of our major strengths. Since the day we opened eight years ago we have run most of the skate comps in the district, we pushed the boundaries with the help of local skaters and parents to build the WONTHAGGI SKATE PARK, designed and helped construct the LOCH and TOORA SKATE PARKS and continue to support the local skate scene with team riders like JOSH SHEERIN and DANIEL DUNN. With a huge range of skate hardware, our staff have the expertise to have you ripping up the park in no time. If your priority this summer is to look good, then now is the time to get in and check out all of the latest summer fashions from VOLCOM, RUSTY, ELEMENT, DC, RVCA, ANOLOG, KREW, O’NEILL and a stack of others.
